My Quest for a 40cm jack

The first time I had started this was three weeks ago, when the canals were clear and the skies were grey. Grey skies make for perfect condions to fish the canals so I chose to head down get ready and slay some jacks. Couple of bream hits in I get my first hit, not big but decent and it gets me going. for the rest of the day I had just been getting hits from bream until, BANG a jack hits it once, I tweak my splash prawn a little bit then BANG again only this time I had hooked him. This jack is going crazy, dipping my rod in the water because he goes under the yak. Finally I get my oppurtunity to land him and with one big sweep of the net he is in, my first ever jack on surface and on lure. Over the next couple of weeks I will be documenting my journey to a 40 on lure with my YouTube.
